Drew Mantia is a multi-faceted Midwestern producer, mixer, songwriter, and singer specializing in Pop, Hip Hop, R&B and Orchestral for artists, TV shows and advertising. Beginning as a St. Louis based Pop singer/songwriter, Drew has transformed through new phases in new cities. After graduating from Webster University with a degree in Jazz Studies & Music Technology, a move to Kansas City sparked a new interest in Hip Hop production after interning with the engineer for Tech N9ne’s Strange Music record label. Time in KC also saw collaboration with local Modern Dance choreographers, one of which "Deliberation" became a surprise hit after uploading a performance video to YouTube. Drew relocated to Chicago in 2012, quickly becoming the go-to producer and engineer for rappers ProbCause & The Palmer Squares, leading to more collaboration within the Chicago Hip Hop scene with artists like Chance the Rapper ("LSD" with ProbCause) and Saba ("Down", "MIA"). Drew’s production and mixing work with ProbCause & The Palmer Squares has garnered multiple millions of plays and views and been performed on stages across the US and Canada. In 2016, Drew made his return to being a singer/songwriter forming a Pop duo, The Belief Cycle, with longtime friend and keyboardist Ryan Marquez. After relocating back to St. Louis in 2019 and releasing a debut TBC album in 2020, Mantia along with Marquez would sign a sync publishing deal leading to song placements on TV networks like The CW, Netflix, MTV, VH1, BET, E! And more. In 2022, “Nasty” produced by Drew for R&B vocalist Joshua Showtime Williams became a viral hit via TikTok, attracting over 2,500,000 views for the artist’s first ever music video, millions more streams and nationwide radio spins. As of 2023, Drew is working with exciting talent out of the Midwest while connecting deeper with the larger industry out West as a producer and commercial composer.
